The Ward 39 neighborhood group meets the last Thursday of every month, 7-8:10 pm. Our next meeting is Thursday 2/25; we’ll have updates on Reclaim’s work, our reading and mutual aid circles, and what’s happening in our neighborhood, and we’ll be reflecting on the question “What does Abolition look like in South Philadelphia?” Ward 39 is South Philadelphia east of Broad St. and south of Mifflin St., except between Broad and 10th where it stretches up to Tasker St. It includes LoMo, Whitman, and parts of East Passyunk.
